Civil War Products
Cased Image photo frames
Cased image frames were used both by the Confederacy and Union military as a way of protecting the images of their loved ones. Photography being a new science captured the faces of soldiers their sweethearts and children left behind. They carried them as a visual memory in a case to protect them from the weather, light and the riggers of battle.
