Hunt Leather Collections is a family owned business, based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. David Hunt, owner, is originally from England where he worked at hand crafting specialized accessories and product lines for many top fashion icons and leading stores including Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Harrods and museums world wide. His knowledge and experience is the culmination of four generations of leather work including most recently his 40 years of leather product design, development and manufacturing. We recreate long lost treasures often found only in private collections, archives and museums. We take great pride in replicating for the reenactor and the connoisseur these quality and accurate period pieces to be used and treasured for future generations.

Our original Civil War cased image photograph frames are hand made to the highest standard incorporating quality materials, using only top grain leathers assembled by the most skilled artisans. The cased image frames have been recreated in size and design to hold the earliest photographs made of paper, daguerreotypes, ambrotypes or tintypes. These photo frames continue to keep alive the tradition of saving visual memories and keepsakes of your loved ones during your travels.

Our site also incorporates a range of wine accessories. These unique wine accessories are manufactured in the heart of the equestrian district of Buenos Aires Argentina by the "Gattorna" family who still produce leather products and sand cast brass fittings in the traditional way. This line of 19th-century accessories is unmatched in both reproduction and quality.
